Managing Partner Work Experience
- A member of NACE International/AMPP since 1984. I was chair of several coatings administrative committees rising to the position of Chair of the technical committee (Technical Coordination Committee) overseeing all NACE corrosion standards and reports in 2015-2016.
- Also led technical special technical symposia and recruited international participation in the technical committee side of NACE/AMPP.
- Since 2001: Convener and appointed US Expert of ISO CommitteeTC67/SC2/WG14 External Protective Pipeline Coatings Committees (6 active committees)-Helped to appoint, lead, and mentor and standards documents project committee leaders.
- Authored or co-authored coating technical articles in corrosion industry trade journals including Materials Performance and World Pipelines.
- Presented technical symposia on wax pipeline coatings and pipeline casing filler at various AMPP/NACE functions throughout the US, Latin America and the Australian Corrosion Association.
- For 33 years have overseen international technical sales, marketing, product troubleshooting in Latin America and east Asia. Developed and maintained vendor relationships for the Trenton Corporation’s field applied coatings. Made visits and field visits to facilitate education and training of pipeline operators and end users of pipeline coatings. Was known as an engaging presenter with clear communication skills and both Spanish and English.
- Have traveled extensively throughout Latin America and East Asia and developed relationships with energy company pipeline corrosion and pipeline integrity engineers in corrosion.
